Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
But even if you lend your WE army, then obviously the person boroowing it, will not have the same experience with the WE as he would have had with the WoC. So this still not really solves the issue as I already said before.
Furthermore, what will you do, if more than one player applies?
I think the proposal of at least allowing the old book with old restrictions is far easier, convinient and if I may say so fairer.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
Recall that this tournament is training for ETC players. So why using an obsolete book?!
I'am also a bit astonished we didn't used the new comp, but there should be a good reason.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
Why use obsolte rules that will not be used for said ETC players?
So basically what it comes down to is not a real ETC training tournament but just a usual tournament that happens to use old ETC rules. But these rules were written with said old book and not with the new one, hence balance will shift using the new book that has no new comp under the old restrictions. It will also shift using new comp and the new book, since neither is adapted to old ETC rules.
Hence the simplest way is to simply allow the old book
That gives WoC players a choice under tested and accepted comp - which they obviously do not have, if they are forced to play the new book and new comp.
But that is now rethorical anyway as the deadline for list submission has passed...

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
On to a complete other question:
As painting and basing is required a quick question:
For selfmade models do parts that are made of wood that show wood or parts made of metal that show metal have to be overpainted as wood and metal to get no painting penalty or is it sufficient to leave materials that are what they are as they are?
Example - I own a model of a selfmade wooden trebuchet. Trebuchets were traditionally made from wood - now, do I have to paint the wood as wood or can I leave that be?
And how do you handle Warmachines:
Do they have to be based as well and if yes - which sizes for which warmachine?
Furthermore, if you have for example a selfmade warmachine that resembles one of GWs model but would be different in size, which size shall be used for play?
Thanks in advance for answering.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
I'd say, this is going very far for a Vouivre tournament (some here haven't see the caldron of blood that Aurel played once haha)
The wooden trebuchet along with your army (I've seen it) is perfectly fine and will not yield any penality (of course, except if we need those point to overtake you in the ranking )
No problemos !
With warmachines, no basing is required, and if the players are not able to solve some issues about that, the referee will decide for them. But as we haven't had any problems so far, so I don't see the need to over rule, when it's only supposed to be a fun friendly tournament, no matter how big the tournament has become
Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
That is the kind of answer I hoped for - THANKS for clarification though.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
Soon ! (yes, extraordinary accurate answer )
François said 10 days (or one week) before the tournament if I'm not mistaken, so I'm guessing it'll come this weekend.
Can't wait haha
Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
After receiving the lists, some feedback from just a quick looking over them, probably I misread something then apologies upfront:
Team Shadowlords is missing their Lores for Vampires and Lizzard lists. Also their Slanns have not revealed their free disciplines.
LES CHEVALIERS DU CAQUELON missing Lores for Ogres, their Lizzards have 7 out of a maximum total of 6 Skink, Chameleon skinks and Skink Cohorts units combined maybe taken in an army (Cohorts containing Kroxigor or numbering above 20 models do not count for this restriction).
Dream team the WE Lvl 4 mage and the Slann are missing their lore.
Bad Company the Vampires are missing their lores.
As deciding lores now, that lists are revealed, can be used to optimize lists quite a bit that should yield penalties imo.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
I'm still wondering, why our Teamlists (Mini-Rams w.g.b.) aren't in the pdf?^^
Is something wrong with them, or was it a mistake?
I'll try to translate all armylists (from all teams) tomorrow into german, if anyone wants them in german, just say it, and I'll mail them to you.

@Krokgar: it's a mistake, sorry.
Thanks Buchi for reporting mistakes. I warned the player and ask them to correct their lists quickly.
Normally, I'll send the corrected PDF tomorrow.

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
So, I'm translating the lists to german atm, and I think I found a fault in Xaviers Bretonnia list.
His Bretonnian Lord costs in total 245 Points, but at the OnlineCodex I come only to 240 Points. So he has 5 Points left he could use for something else =)
Hope I don't miss something out O,o
Bretonnian Lord, General, Knights's Vow
+ Pegasus
+ Virtue of Heroism, Sword of Swift Slaying, Potion of Foolhardiness, Enchanted Shield
- - - > 240 Points
^ Thats what the onlinecodex says...
Edit:
Same Problem with the Dwarve Armylist of the Team Roots.
The Thain is listed with 124 Points. Onlinecodex means that it's only 119 Points.
Thane, Great Weapon
+ 1 x Rune of Stone, 1 x Master Rune of Challenge, 1 x Rune of Brotherhood
- - - > 119 Points
Total Points Dwarfs : 119
Edit2:
The Lizard List of the Shadowlords has also no General. Thats quite important to know, if the bsb-slann is also general, or not.
Then the things mentioned by Buchi is correct. The disciplines are not listed...
Edit3:
I hate french lists-.- Pls for the next time, ask that all players make english lists, PLEASE
So, what I basically wanted to say: les "contes Vampires" de "les chavaliers du caquelon", they have 6 "emissaires d' outre-tombes" for total 150 Points. If the "emissaires d'outre-tombes" are the same as the ghosts out of the rare unit, then they can have only 3, since 1 = 50 Points.
Same team but now dwarfs. The Army has 3 Points to much in it. The points for the "arquebusiers"(282 points in list) and "arbalétriers"(166) are wrong. If I've understood it correct, it must be "arquebusiers 285 points" and "arbaletriers 169 points".

Thank you for comments and corrections. I've done my best to correct errors and I will send a new file tomorrow (with all lists).
If there are still errors, we will correct it the next weekend.
See you

I think that should be a necessity for open roosters. Otherwise it makes no sense, when half of the players don't understand the opponents armylists. So maybe the next time?Pls for the next time, ask that all players make english lists, PLEASE

I don't think that "half of the players" don't speak french... But for next year, we'll standardize the lists and languages.

The problem is not, that "we" can't speak french, but the "warhammer" french (sorry) sucks^^ I've translated now 4 french lists with my "school-french" + somekinde of translator I found with google, and there are still lots of magicalstuff I can't even make a guess, what it should be with the +/- sense, the translation would make^^ While playing it isn't a problem, since the opponend can explain it, but for checking the lists/try to make some comments for the parring, it sucks =/
But anyway, next time =)

Re: Tournoi par Equipes 6
Hi everybody
There was no mistake in our vampire list.
But we wrote "vampire" and not "arcanes vampiriques" in the second or third position for characters.
Anyway. Thanks francois for the corrected lists and See you all this week end.

I'll just leave this language conflict how it is, atm ;-)
Can anyone of you french ppl tell me, what the shortcut "PAM" means? Is it the dispell scroll?
@Francescozey/Orga
I send you later on the lists I translated, since I found lots of wrong counted armylists (few armylists have 5-6 points to much in the rooster), do what you want with it =)
