Re: Rules issues
Question about healing for Vampires, how many LP/modells are brought back if you heal a hexwraith unit that has had 3 casualties with a level 4 necromancer?
I expect 1 but have encountered various "proposals" so wanted to be sure

Re: Rules issues
There is an Errata for units of vampires, which states, that Vargheists and blood knights only regain 1 wound per spell. Of course, one can say, that this implies that it doesn't stay true for ethereal. But in my opinion it means the same for ethereal. So only 1 per spell (imo).

Re: Rules issues
I interpreted the same, but wanted to get some other opinions in as well. If someone sees that differently I would appreciate it, if you could explain why.
Thanks in advance

Re: Rules issues
Yes there is the faq that only speak about vampires. By strict RAW ethereal units will be healed 1+lvl but is logical to think that they just forgot it. I'm quite sure ETC faqs will cover this.

Re: Rules issues
A TK question:
Can Sepulchural Stalker use his Gaze attack to wound a warmachine?
Usually WMs do not have an initiative value and the gaze states that targets without initiative cannot be wounded. But for WMs the crews initiative could be used though but I am unsure if that is allowed?

Re: Rules issues
I think since a wm is a combined profil of crew and wm you shoot on the ini of the crew

Re: Rules issues
But what about Pit of Shades for example? Automatic loss of the WM despite a combined profile...

Re: Rules issues
Pit of shades requires an initiative test and war machines have special rules for characteristic tests.
But the stalkers don't require an initiative test, so I would say, ElDortes answer is correct.

This matter has been settled.

A: The highest Leadership value within the unit, without any modifiers or Inspiring Presence.
Also the doc has been updated.

Re: Rules issues
Not for sure They are just arguing about that, since the AR.com didn't agree with it. Maybe it will change soon again. For now it's just unclear, how it will work.
