ETC 2014: Work Group
Hi everyone,
As I promised some days ago, here's the list of people I have chosen to be part of the ETC process this year.
Either they are already experienced ETC players, or promising aspiring players, or they helped the ETC community in various way and deserved to be part of it.
All those people are most welcome to participate in the dicussions, the votes, the training events and so on.
The final selection will take place in april
If you see anyone missing, you can contact me by PM
Cheers,
Xavier

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
First i thank you for your trust in me to be part of the team.
2. I really like the list of players that could play at the Etc for us.
3. Maybe we should make a first list which army we propably going to pick so we could test different lists and setups.

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
I think, that wont be helpful, since at least 2 (probably even 3 or 4) new armies will be released and the AC will change quite a lot. Thus the metagame will be completely different.Maybe we should make a first list which army we propably going to pick so we could test different lists and setups.
I think it's better to test as many different armies and concepts as possible for the next half year and when a trend in the AC is visible focus on the actual metagame. But that's only my opinion.
@Xavier: Thank's for the list and the appearance of my name

Also we should not loose track of the metagame played outside of switzerland.
@Xavier
Maybe it would also be a good idea to ad the possible armys played by the listed players?

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
I dont think this is needed aswell.
But every player could make a list of armys he can/is willing to play and make something like a journal what builds he tested and how they worked out.

Thanks for the list Xavier!
Just to let you know in advance - I will become father for the second time in February next year, so I can already tell you, that I will not be part of the actual team for 2014.
Nonetheless, I will gladly help in organizational matters as good as I can like for 2013.

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
Nice job Xavier, good idea to star early this year.
As I already said in Novi Sad I won't play the ETC this year because I'll have my master thesis presentation next summer. Even thought I'll try to help the team with informations and lists of the italian meta.
Are you going to play in Sion this weekend? I have some of your stuff here in Fribourg and I don't know if I have to bring them or not (a DE army and so on..).

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
I can announce that beginning-mid of january will be organized an event (one or two days) where everyone is invited.
We'll talk about how we would like to shape the team for 2014, as well as maybe organize a few games
I would like to know who would be free and interested in taking part to such an event?
And also, since it's neraly impossible for me to organize something outside Wallis, if anyone else has a suitable place located more centrally (like Lausanne or Bern) that would be most welcome.
I'll keep you updated !

I'm free.
Bern would be a interesting place, but we also have the Pavillon in Sion (for free).

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
Hi =)
I should be free to and I'm looking forward to this weekend.
Well my family has a house in Bern (20min outside of Bern by car), but since its just a family house, we do not have place for 20ppl to sleep... If we finde a suited place to stay in Bern, I can atleast offer some free sleeping places.
Edit:
If its one day it should work. We have enough place to sit and talk in the livingroom and enough to eat too. Just the sleeping places are limited, like I said. Ah and we do not have enough place, that 4 ppl can play at the same time. Well it works if we play on the floor, but its not comfortable^^

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
I wanted to organise something in the first or second of february in Lausanne. Il a "refuge" We can be 28 people in this and we can cook. But it's 200CHF for saturday, and 150CHF for sunday. If we are 10 on sunday, it s ok, 15CHF per persons and food more. But it could be something like a little tournament with 3 games were it s open to every one or just a training day only with the people of the list?
Very happy to be on the list.
Hope you ll have fun in three weeks.
See you.

Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
That's a great idea Arnaud !
Unfortunately due to my exams I won't be able to be there, but I strongly support any initiative of that kind !
I think that organizing a one day ETC Training tournament in Lausanne is perfect
Re: ETC 2014: Work Group
I'm interested too
But I'm not sure, if I will have time. Depends on the exact date.
