My opinion so far:

I have favoured beastmen before but with that draft they are more appropriately called "BESTmen".

O&G still on 2600 - nice one!

Dwarfs are gone now if the anvil stays 2 WMs.

Empire became weaker with the restrictions on Demis, which was to be expected. I would probably see them more as a roadblock army now with 2x HFSK, canon and tank.

Vampires can now have 2 Terrorgheists - that will be a combo to freak quite a few armies out.

WoC still going strong - under this comp one of the must have armies imo.

Demons should still be interesting especially with Alans concept.

Brets unrestricted again - yeahh!

Rest pretty much the same to me. It will be of interest, what the new HE book will look like though...

Totally agree with you, maybe just beastmen are not as strong as they look like. Mindrazor (with eternal hatred) is good but it's still easy to dispell it.


About my DoC, don't know honestly. I will probably "sacrifice" the next tournament (27th of april) to test my list, even if I know that I can't push to win it. I'll let you know my feelings.

Agreed, but then you get Miasmed and lose strength and or toughness quite likely while the Beasts might get pushed further.
I know that if your opponent can save a scroll until the big fight, it can be ugly, but you do not have to commit to any big fight as the Beastmen player imo or do I make a missassumption?

HFSK? Homological floral super knife? I guess it's a cool unit.

The new draft weaken empire only if you want to go 2*5 demis, but this won't fit with steam tank.
Since you wanted to play steam tank, what do you mean? My actual list is not hit.

I dont think beastmen are that strong now even with razor and all that stuff.


Double terrorgheist looks cool but you have to sacrifice the vampire lord or the necro. I dont know if its worth it.
