Trainingweekend in Oberdiessbach, BE

Hi all

So as Xavier suggested, there will be a training weekend on the 05. + 06. July .
It is basically open for all players, but the ppl of the ETC-Team have priority.

Basic information:
Start: 12 o’clock 05.07.2014
End: max. 8 o’clock pm 06.07.2014
Max. ppl: Around 8-10ppl for sleeping. We have only place for max. 4 gaming tables!

I will be there around 12 o'clock on Saturday the 05. July. If someone would be there earlier, it's not a problem, I'll check with my mother, that someone is at home. But please inform me, if you plan to be there before me. It is possible to come only for one day, do as you want. I think we will end on Sunday at around 6 o'clock p.m. or at the latest 8 o'clock p.m.

Eat + drink:
We will grill all the weekend (we can grill, also when the weather sucks). Everyone brings something for the grill on his own. There is a Coop in the village, so if we need something, we can go and buy it. Bring enough stuff for the grill, since I think we will put the grill 2 times on on Saturday (during lunchtime and in the evening). Alternative we can make some pasta on Saturday lunchtime.

I will buy stuff for the breakfast (nothing special), some salad and for snacks (chips and so stuff). If someone wants to bring a salad (pasta- salad <3) for all, why not :DEverything you ppl bring with you, I do not need to buy^^ Please tell me, what you are going to bring.

Since I do not drink wine, I will only buy softdrinks and beer. If you want to drink wine, bring it with you =)

Costs:
All costs for breakfast, drinks etc. will be divided. There will be no costs for the house rent^^

Location:
The weekend will be held in my family house in "3672 Oberdiessbach" in the best canton of Switzerland: BERN  
Oberdiessbach is more or less at the a** of the world, but it has a train station, which you can access via Thun or Bern (via Konolfingen). Sadly the train station is in the village and the house is high on a hill. So if you come by train, inform me, so we can pick you up. I will wright you the address when time comes.

When the weather is nice, bring your swimstuff with you, since we have a small swimmingpool, where we can cool our heads after a hot, intense battle.

We have 2 beds, 1-2 mattress and 2 sofas to sleep on. So basically 4-6 ppl can have a good sleep, whereas the other ones need to sleep on the floor/garden/toilett/swimmingpool/cat-toilett etc.  Take in account, that we have 2 cats, so if you are allergic, please bring some medis and tell me, so that you can get a bed.

Big Problem: Terrain and game boards:
I have no terrain and no game boards or something, so someone would need to bring this stuff. Also we have only 3 Tables to put the game boards on (if the weather is good). If it's raining, we have only 1 table to put the game boards on. So we also need the stands to put the game boards on.

Worst case we put the game boards on the floor, risking that the cats will walk over it^^

What to do now:
Please wright here, if you can come, and on how many days you want to come. Also every further information is a help (if you‘re allergic, if you bring wine with you, etc). I will keep this post updated with the ppl who want to come and on how many days etc. I know it is still early, but the sooner you know what you want, the better

I can, maybe, manage to attend one day to "coach" and without playing (I will if you are an odd number), but since I'm not sure I can't say yes or no now. In any case I won't sleep there.



I'm also allergic to cats and I take no medicines

I will check today if I'm able to come, but I'm quite convinced to be there for 2 days.

The thing is that I'll be back from one week in Copenhaguen and will be away again on 7th, so maybe I will want to stay home a bit.
I'll be there for one day at least, 2nd one I want but I'll see how I can organize myself.

So I will pick Stefan up, and we will bring one complete table (GW Table) with saftystands.

Basically we need only saftystands for 2 more tables (if 8ppl come), since I'm sure we can use 1 "real" table in the livingroom for the gameboard.

I am not sure what you mean by safety stands but I can bring 2 things to carry a table. But a table need 4 to be ok I think.

Unfortunately i m not free for coming for these training days. But I ll have time the 1 and 2 of july for battles. If some wants to come in Lausanne by me, he s wlecome. During these two days I ll choose my defninitive list. I ll submit to you and you ll discuss it in live during the week end by Kris.

I ll also have time every monday, tuesday and wednesday during july until the 23.

Especially the persons, who are still unsure. It would be really great to get the organisation done, so that we know the ppl count, the tablecount etc.

I finally finished the last things I had to do in Fribourg. I'm not there anymore (until September at least) so for me it is a too long trip to come from Ticino for a testing day.

So, since it is only one week until the training weekend, lets check, if everything is correct^^

Time: I told my Mother to be around in the morning. So just come when you want. She will open up, if I am not there yet. I will come at around 12 to 1 o'clock with Stefan.

Sleeping:
Xavier + GF = Tent in the Garden
Kris = Bed

Then we have left: 1 Bed, one mattress, one sofa and 2 double-airmattress. So Basically everyone will have a bed, but if it is ok for 2, they can share a double-airmattress, so I do not need to bring one from Schaffhausen.

Playingtables:
Stefan will bring one GW-Table with Saftystands.
Xavier will bring 2 tables, no saftystands needed, we can place them on the tables which are there.

Xavier brings terrain for all 3 tables!

So we will have 3 gamingtables, since we are 7 players. Date might come on Saturday for 1-2 Games, in that case 2 ppl would need to take a break and enjoy the swimmingpool. I think this is enough, it is not needed to bring a 4 table.

Eat and Drink:
Everyone brings something for the grill! Some ppl sayed they bring wine. It has a coop in the village to buy some stuff to.

Yeah, thats it. I'm looking forward to this weekend =)

For food and drink:
I will go shopping when we are there and buy what's missing. I don't plan to bring something special with me.

If needed I could bring a air mattress with electric pump.
